Election Night 2024: A major transatlantic event in Berlin
The “Election Night 2024” organized by the Aspen Institute Germany on November 5, 2024 in Berlin marks a special highlight of transatlantic political events in this important election year. The US presidential election will have a significant impact on the transatlantic political landscape. The results of this landmark election will have far-reaching consequences not only for the future of the United States, but also for transatlantic relations and global politics. To experience this eventful election campaign together as a transatlantic community, the Aspen Institute Germany is organizing an event to analyze and discuss the impact of the 2024 US elections on transatlantic relations and the global political landscape.
In collaboration with the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the Federal Government and other partners, the event will provide a platform for approximately 1,200 high-level participants from politics, business, the public and non-profit sectors, academia, and the arts and cultural scene. A comprehensive program featuring leading experts from the US and Germany will discuss the election results in real time. A variety of panel discussions, interviews and speeches will offer deep insights into the potential impact on US foreign, security and economic policy as well as developments within American society. The evening will also be covered live by US and European media reporting on events in the US. Media partners will broadcast live from the event and conduct interviews with prominent guests throughout the night. In addition to the informative aspects of the evening, entertainment and culinary delights will also be provided. A VIP lounge will enable high-ranking guests to network in an exclusive atmosphere.
The event serves not only to observe and analyze the election, but also as a forum for discussion, debate and networking, making it an important meeting place for the transatlantic community in Berlin.
